Turn in those Box Tops!

Glenwood/Lauren PTO is proud to support the General Mills Box Tops for Education school fundraising program. This program is an easy way to turn trash into treasure, without spending any more money than you usually would! We earn money based on how many coupons are turned in. Each General Mills Box Top is worth $0.10. Last year Glenwood staff, students, and families raised more than $2,700, and we have a goal of $3,260 this year. And to think, we get all this from our usual grocery shopping!

General Mills Box Tops can be found on a variety of products including Cheerios, Pop Secret popcorn, Ziploc bags, Kleenex, and Betty Crocker products.

How to Participate in Box Tops for Education

  • Buy products with the Box Tops coupon on them: It’s a great way to keep your kids’ attention when in the grocery store! (“I Spy A Box Top”)

  • Clip the coupons when you see them, and store them in a safe place until you can send them to school. Make sure you clip the entire coupon. Ask friends, family, and neighbors to clip them for you, too! (Here’s a tip: Keep a ziploc baggy on your fridge with a magnet for easy storage.)

  • Sign up for the “Box Tops Booster Club” at www.boxtops4education.com, where you can learn even more ways to earn money for the program.

  • Send in your coupons anytime during the school year in a baggy or envelope labeled with your child’s name, teacher, and grade level. The class sending in the most coupons at the end of each collection blitz will be awarded a prize.
